To Start Things Out

First, go here for a brief overview on what I've created so far.
Second, blogspot is much more user-friendly than MoveableType. It seems as if I have messed my archives up permanently. I've decided to start over in a place that I can't screw up.
That last sentence is actually quite representative of my station in life right now and probably the biggest reason as to why I've decided to start a new blog. I am at a place in life that I didn't quite expect to be just two not-so-short years ago. A huge part of me arriving at where I am, I think, is the freedom I have had to express myself in cyber-space.
So, now, the new digs. I have been thinking a lot about how I want to use this new space. This is going to be a place of reflection, as was the old place, but my goal is to be more reflective of what I'm reflecting on (confusing, I know, just bear with me). There is a lot I want to learn about government, economics, cooking, creating, relationships, child-rearing, and language learning, just to name a few. :)
I think I am finished with ranting for the most part. I'll allow myself the freedom to rant over at my old space, but I need to use the powers I've been given for the greater good rather than just simply getting something off my chest.
Anyhow, I hope that brings you up to speed. I'm lovin' blogspot so far. I hope we have many years ahead of blogging bliss.
